Music Videos are always fun for a Director and I’m no different. From traditional to contemporary to experimental it is a great space to get creative. The same can be said of the social media space. A constantly evolving platform video & story telling are increasingly becoming the game changer for those at the leading edge, and that’s pretty exciting!

NORTHERN VOICE
Dave Olson (now famously of HootSuite) and I created this video because he was unable to attend Northern Voice, a Blogging conference in Vancouver. It is great to document presentations and when we can control the light and the sound they become important learning tools.
THE TREE SHEPHERDS
I worked with Matt Robertson to create a series of videos documenting the process of recording one of their albums. We made an episode for every song on the record giving people a taste for the album & it’s evolution. This was also the beta project in pioneering the '1 minute music video'.
WARREN FLANDEZ
WARREN FLANDEZ and I agreed that using a Steadicam and a Crane to keep the images moving was the feel we wanted for the story line of a young man on a journey in search of answers. This video is so old it's shot on 35mm film!...but that's why it holds up. Not to mention of course Warren's great voice.
RICH HOPE
RICH HOPE is a lot of fun & his live shows are high energy. I wanted to capture that and get a little bit of the man behind the music. We shot cinema verité style, under low concert lighting & live. Hockey and High Heels
Hockey and High Heels was a project I did for Author Lisa Ovens. She wanted a video, a 'highlite package' of her book to use on her website and at speaking engagements for promo. It's all VSFX's created by my friend Martin Halle (he worked on Avatar!)
