This video is the 1st in a series I will call ‘The Three Minute Documentary’ or ‘3minutE Doc’.
This was the 4th Annual Slow Food Cycle Sunday in Pemberton. A beautiful sunny day saw 2300 riders do the 50 km round trip down Pemberton Meadows Road. I took the opportunity to ride with some friends and shoot a little video on the Canon PowerShot SD300 Digital Elph. I was impressed with the video capture even though functionally I find such a small camera way too sensitive to operate and of course audio I find suspect.
“I wanted to say how wonderful your video is. I so appreciate seeing shots of the ride and the happy faces of all the riders. This is really why we spend so much time organizing this event! This year I spent almost all day at the Registration area and didn’t see much of the ride myself, so I was really touched when I watched your video and saw the masses of people, the happy children (what a darling shot of the little girl hugging the puppy) and the hundreds of bikes everywhere! – most of the farmers also don’t get out on the road to see what happiness and fun they are part of!”
